Masjid Finder is being built to make it easier for people to discover nearby masjids, find useful location information, and access Jamaat schedules shared by their local communities.
Most existing prayer applications calculate general astronomical prayer start times (Athan / Waqt). While helpful, they cannot tell you when the actual congregation (Iqamah) begins inside a specific neighborhood mosque. Because each masjid establishes its own timetable according to season and community needs, worshippers often arrive too late or have to guess.
We believe technology for Islamic worship should be calm, completely free of intrusive ads, respectful of personal privacy, and deeply grounded in honesty.

If a timetable is unverified, we explicitly report "Schedule Pending" rather than guessing.

When you open the app, you can allow one-time foreground location access to instantly see masjids within 1 km, 3 km, 5 km, 10 km, or 20 km. You can also manually search by locality, city ward, or landmark name.
We practice strict Islamic integrity: an expired or unverified schedule is never fabricated or silently presented as active. If a masjid's committee has not yet published an authorized schedule for the current date range, the app explicitly displays 'Timings unavailable' rather than guessing.
Masjid Finder natively supports English, Hindi (हिन्दी), and Urdu (اردو). You can toggle your preferred language at any time from the app settings.
No. Finding nearby masjids, viewing prayer schedules, and getting directions is completely free and requires zero login. Guest privacy is respected by default without background tracking.
